Job description
Our client, based in Essex, is currently recruiting for a Supported Housing Officer on a temporary to permanent contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate for temporary is negotiable based on experience and with permanent salary of £25,900.
The ideal candidate will have experience carrying out support plans and working within the housing setting.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Managing x2 blocks of supported living accommodation for 25 tenants with various complex needs
Helping tenants with budgeting and collecting rent arrears
Creating support plans and tailoring to each client and conducting risk assessments
Carrying out safeguarding procedures and conducting welfare checks
Advising on welfare and benefits available and helping tenants to make applications
Referring tenants to external agencies for additional support, if necessary
Experience required:
Two years of housing experience
Safeguarding experience and knowledge
DBS valid within three years (Temporary role only)

Working hours:
37.5 hours per week
Monday - Friday 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm
