Supported Housing Manager
Job description
We’re currently working with a housing organisation (in collaboration with a prominent national youth charity) that is launching a new homelessness support service in Bristol. They are looking to appoint an experienced Supported Housing Manager to take the lead from day one. The position is due to start immediately, at a salary of £38,000 per annum.
This presents a great opportunity to establish and shape a new service, overseeing a team dedicated to supporting individuals facing homelessness and multiple disadvantage.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Managing and developing a team of support workers to ensure high standards of delivery
• Embedding a strong performance culture through regular supervision, goal setting, and appraisals
• Ensuring effective safeguarding practices, compliance, and health & safety oversight
• Overseeing contract delivery and building strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Assisting residents with tenancy sustainment, rent responsibilities, and access to benefits
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Previous experience working with people who have experienced homelessness
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Good personnel management skills
Working hours:
37.5 hours per week
Monday – Friday, 09:00 to 17:00
