Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a Large Housing Association based in Manchester, who are recruiting for a Support Worker on a temporary six-week contract with a view to going permanent. The position is due to start immediately and has an hourly rate of pay that is negotiable based on experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience with working in Social Housing and it is desirable that they have worked with people who suffer with low and medium Mental Health needs.

An Enhanced DBS is needed for this role.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Caring for a small group of clients with low to medium level mental heath
  • Carrying out supported sessions
  • Providing residential support to a small number of clients
  • Completing risk assessments and creating support plans
  • Monitoring repairs needed to rooms
  • Providing safeguarding and progress updates to management
  • Raising safeguarding concerns and signposting tenants to the relevant agencies

Experience required:

  • safeguarding
  • Carrying out risk assessments and support plans

Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week
  • 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday
