We are happy to be representing an amazing Charity, with multiple temporary Support Worker roles across Somerset

Currently, we have 3 different temporary roles (3-month ongoing contracts), across Minehead, Bridgewater and Taunton.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Responsible for providing housing related support to 18 plus clients, within supported housing with a history of homelessness, substance misuse or complex needs

• Helping clients to find move on accommodation and providing advice to help sustain their tenancies

• Offering with welfare and benefits advice as well as giving support with general money management

• Creating support plans and undertaking risk assessments

• Signposting client queries to the appropriate external agency such as the Police, Probation Services, Social Services and Local Authorities

• Encouraging clients to get involved with community activities and socialise with those around them

• Assisting with tenancy management, low level anti-social behaviour complaints, rental arrears and more
  

Working hours:

20 - 37 hours per week (Part time or Full time available)

Monday - Friday 8am – 8pm (1 weekend in 4) – Rota basis

Hourly rate negotiable depending upon experience or permanant option with starting salary of £22,000 per annum
