Job description
Our client, based in Lambeth, is currently recruiting for a Support Worker role on a 2-month temporary contract. They are an adult social care provider that wants to build their local community. The client wants to build the potential of their users and give them the support they need to build their independence and connect with other people.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.
The ideal candidate will have experience with assisting users with mild learning difficulties.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Roughly dealing with a caseload of 10x clients, seeing a maximum of 4x clients per day
Assisting service users with mild learning difficulties to live independently
Supporting them to complete benefit applications, budgeting and helping them with help appointments
Implementing and carrying out support plans
Experience required:
Working independently and communication skills
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Creating support plans

35 hours per week
Monday - Friday 7.5 hours a day
