We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Essex, who are recruiting for a specialist support worker on a 3-month temporary contract with the possibility of extension. The position is due to start Monday the 7th of September.  The hourly rate of pay is negotiable depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have an enhanced DBS certificate, drive and have access to their own vehicle, and have proven experience of working with vulnerable adults with complex support needs.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Delivering tailored, customer-focused support to customers with complex and multiple needs

• Completing assessments and manage support plans

• Supporting housing stability and financial wellbeing

• Providing proactive outreach and multi-agency support

• Working collaboratively with partner agencies and stakeholders

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experience working with customers within housing

• Case management, support planning and risk assessment

• Working with statutory and voluntary agencies

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• GCSE English and mathematics or equivalent

• Ability to build positive relationships with vulnerable customers

• Understanding of homelessness, tenancy sustainment and support services

• Rota: 9am-5pm early or 1pm-9pm late
