Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Liverpool, who are recruiting for a Compliance Officer on a permanent basis.
The role will be covering the St Helens, Liverpool and Warrington area, and the salary available is £39,108 per annum.
They will be highly organised, confident managing compliance documentation and audits, and capable of working with multiple stakeholders to ensure regulatory and operational standards are consistently met.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Maintaining compliance trackers and ensuring records remain accurate and up to date
Monitoring statutory compliance requirements and identifying outstanding or non-compliant areas
Managing compliance relating to fire alarm testing, EICRs, emergency lighting, PAT testing and gas safety certification
Obtaining, recording and validating compliance documentation and certification
Managing and supporting a team of maintenance operatives
Monitoring operational performance and identifying risks, inefficiencies and areas for improvement
Producing operational reports and analysing compliance data using Excel, SharePoint and Fixflo
Developing and implementing compliance trackers, emergency logs and void reporting systems
Coordinating with contractors, landlords, local authorities and other key stakeholders
Ensuring contractual, operational, compliance and health & safety requirements are met
Experience Required
Experience in compliance, contractor management, governance, or supply chain compliance environments
Proven ability to maintain compliance records, documentation, audits, and regulatory requirements
Strong reporting and data analysis skills, including the use of Excel and performance tracking systems
Experience working with multiple stakeholders, contractors, and operational teams to manage risk and drive compliance standards
Working hours:
37.5 hours per week
Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:00
