Our client is a South Wales based Housing Association who is currently recruiting for a Stock Condition Surveyor on a 3-6-month contract with an option to go permanent.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is £26 per hour via an Umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience working within Social Housing, as well as access to their own vehicle.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Undertaking property condition surveys / dilapidation to residential and commercial property, estates infrastructure and owned commercial buildings
• Assisting in managing property registers relating to asbestos, fire, communal and safety related inspection schedules
• Undertaking surveys to determine land boundary infringement including face to face meetings with all parties concerned
• Advising and assisting in the translation of property data into investment proposals for consideration
• Producing the data for the asset management decision making process including specification and design where required
• Completing and inputting surveys using the organisation’s Asset Management package and PIMSS ensuring property data is current and accurate

Experience required:

• Experience completing stock condition surveys within domestic properties
• IT proficiency
• Full UK driving licence

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week
• Monday - Friday 9am-5pm (Flexibility offered)
