Skilled Labourer

Our client, based in Dorset, is currently recruiting for a Skilled Labourer on a temporary contract for up to 6 months, with a view to go permanent following this. Our client is a Housing Association that provides affordable housing and services to its communities.

The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in the sector, however this requirement can be flexible.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

• Maintain a clean and hazard free site environment
• Assist on site multi-trade operatives in repairs to the interior and exterior of domestic properties
• Transport equipment and materials from a van to site in a safe and efficient manner
• Assisting with cement mixing and basic brickwork
• Install fences, gates in the gardens of domestic properties

Experience required:

• Labouring experience
• Full UK driving licence

• 39 hours per week
• Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 5pm, Friday: 8:30am – 4pm
