Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Bristol, who are recruiting for a Compliance Coordinator on a three-month contract.

The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £19.00 via an Umbrella Company.

The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating compliance or repairs within social housing, a strong understanding of compliance risk, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the confidence to liaise effectively with tenants, contractors and internal teams.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Coordinating compliance appointments and supporting the delivery of safety programmes

  • Liaising with tenants, contractors and internal teams to arrange access and resolve issues

  • Monitoring compliance deadlines and ensuring outstanding actions are progressed

  • Updating compliance systems and maintaining accurate records and documentation

  • Managing telephone and email enquiries relating to compliance activities

  • Supporting the team to minimise compliance risk and maintain regulatory standards

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience within social housing, compliance or repairs coordination

  • A good understanding of risk and the importance of regulatory compliance

  • Confidence communicating with tenants and contractors over the phone

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

  • Experience using housing management or compliance systems

  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving

Working hours:

  • 40 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, 8pm – 5pm or 9am-6pm
