Service Coordinator - Compliance
Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Bristol, who are recruiting for a Compliance Coordinator on a three-month contract.
The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £19.00 via an Umbrella Company.
The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating compliance or repairs within social housing, a strong understanding of compliance risk, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the confidence to liaise effectively with tenants, contractors and internal teams.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Coordinating compliance appointments and supporting the delivery of safety programmes
Liaising with tenants, contractors and internal teams to arrange access and resolve issues
Monitoring compliance deadlines and ensuring outstanding actions are progressed
Updating compliance systems and maintaining accurate records and documentation
Managing telephone and email enquiries relating to compliance activities
Supporting the team to minimise compliance risk and maintain regulatory standards
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience within social housing, compliance or repairs coordination
A good understanding of risk and the importance of regulatory compliance
Confidence communicating with tenants and contractors over the phone
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Experience using housing management or compliance systems
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
Working hours:
40 hours per week
Monday – Friday, 8pm – 5pm or 9am-6pm
