Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a prestigious and award-winning public institution based in Central London, who is recruiting for a Senior HR Advisor on a permanent contract.

 

The position is due to start in July on a full-time basis. The salary is £39,000 per annum.

 

The client is looking for someone with extensive experience of working with employee relations and has a strong record of achievement within the Human Resources field.

 

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Ensuring and advising managers and staff on matters across the whole spectrum of human resources Coordinating senior and complex recruitment campaigns to attract and recruit appropriate candidates at all levels

  • Completing statistical returns relating to specific functional areas and provide relevant information for inclusion in management reports to support the HR KPI’s

  • Advising on the implementation of organisation and service reviews to ensure that strategic objectives are fulfilled and that the change programmes are embedded within this business

  • Working on the management of change and organisational development projects

  • Undertaking reward reviews and make recommendations for change and improvements the meet business needs

  • Providing advice to hearing boards and appeal panels to enable them to make appropriate decisions

  • Attending meetings with Trade Union representatives as required and provide quality advice to managers in respect of employee relations’ issues to support the delivery of an effective service

  • Responsible for undertaking Job Evaluation and advising managers in line with Pay Policy

 

Experience required:

  • Proven generalist HR experience

  • Successful experience of working on projects with set outcomes and timescales from a HR perspective

 

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Ability to work in a fast moving working environment

  • Up to date knowledge of employment legislation and professional skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing and negotiation skills

Working hours:

  • 36 hours per week

  • 2/3 days working from home per week

  • Monday - Friday 9am-5pm/8am-4pm/10am-6pm
