Job description

We are delighted to be representing a not-for-profit organisation, based in West London, who are looking to appoint a new Senior HR Advisor on a 12-month FTC.

This will be a full-time position, with hybrid working (3 days home working), a salary of up to £40,000 and 29 days annual leave, plus bank holidays (If the role becomes permanent then annual leave increases to 35 days).

The client is looking for someone with a strong understanding of the recruitment lifecycle who will be able to join the organisation and assist with their recruitment push.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing generalist HR advice and support to all employees and managers within the organisation, and acting as key point of contact for employment legislation and best practice advice

  • Managing and maintaining an effective recruitment strategy for the organisation

  • Delivering the recruitment process from start to finish including advertising roles, arranging interviews and issuing contracts of employment

  • Applying for references for all new starters and provide reference requests in standard format for all leavers

  • Supporting on low level ER cases (including disciplinarians, grievances, capability and absence)

  • Inputting employee information for starters, leavers and contract changes onto the HR (iTrent) & payroll systems

Experience required:

  • Working across the full recruitment lifecycle

  • Updated knowledge of employment laws

Working hours:

  • 36 hours per week

  • Monday - Friday 9am-5pm (Flexible working hours)
