Senior HR Advisor

Our client, based in Swindon, is currently recruiting for a Senior HR Advisor to join their team on a temporary contract for 6 months.

**THE ROLE WILL BE COMPLETELY REMOTE WITH OCCASIONAL TRAVEL TO SWINDON**

The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis and the hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will ideally have extensive experience in the education industry and have knowledge around TUPE transfers and employee engagement.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Providing guidance and professional up to date advice to managers at all levels, ensuring the latest employment law advice/policies are being applied
  • Supporting line management through the application of the TUPE transfer process for employees including the legal & policy requirements, payroll & pension requirements, consultation & engagement with both staff and unions
  • Effective case management completion, including proposed actions and recommendations to HR Business Partners specifically for complex or high-risk cases
  • Supporting the HR Change Partner with regard to change management processes relating to restructuring, consultation on terms & conditions, redundancy, TUPE and other corporate consultation programmes
  • Working with line management to review consultation documents for employee change programmes ensuring “implementation ready”, meeting both employment law, legislation and policy
  • Providing feedback analysis from employees & unions to the HRBP to enable informed decisions to be made on the areas for consultation feedback and proposal changes

Experience and knowledge required:

  • Experienced within the education industry
  • Knowledgeable with TUPE transfers
  • Confident with employee engagement

Working hours:

  • Monday – Friday
  • 9:00AM – 5:00PM
  • Flexible start and finish times
  • Fully remote working – with occasional travel to Swindon
