We are currently working with an industry leader based in Derbyshire who are currently recruiting a Senior Financial Accountant on a permanent basis, paying £65k.

This is a full-time position (37 hours pw) and will be a hybrid contract (2 days WFH).

Daily duties include (but not limited to):

• Leading on all accounting and financial controls for the UK business

• Reporting on working capital on a monthly basis and leading on the forecasting and budgeting cycle

• Actively participating in the preparation of statutory accounts

• Reviewing and suggesting improvements for balance sheet control

• Challenging balance sheet reconciliations to drive improvements

• Reviewing the currency requirements of the business and preparing the hedging forecast

• Deputising for the Financial Controller when required and acting as the number two within the team

Skills, expertise and qualifications required:

• ACCA/CIMA/ACA

• Excellent experience in financial accounting

• Strong working knowledge of technical accounting and accounting standards

• Intermediate MS Excel

• Monday – Thursday, 8:30am – 5:00pm

• Friday, 8:30am – 4.00pm
