​Our client, based in Reading, is currently recruiting for a Scheme Manager on a 3 month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have housing experience and having worked within schemes.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing one scheme consisting of 37x flats of over 55s

• Carrying out building management, raising any repairs on the system

• Dealing with all viewings, sign ups and voids

• Conducting health and safety checks, fire risk assessments, trip hazards and pull cords

• Updating support plans and carrying out risk assessments

• Logging repairs on Active

• Responsible for tenant engagement in programmes and activities

• Providing low level housing advise and advising on welfare benefits

Experience required:

• Working within Schemes

• Complex needs experience with clients over 55

Working hours:

• 30 hours per week

• Monday - Friday 9am-3pm
