SALES MANAGER

Our client, based in West Midlands, is currently recruiting for a Sales Manager on a permanent contract. The client is an award winning Housing Association who was named the number 1 sustainable housing provider in 2021.

The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The salary for this role ranges from £52,000 – £64,500 per annum and offers a car allowance of £3,564 per year.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in the sector, however this requirement can be flexible.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Through the implementation of the personal selling and sales strategy, generate external sales from both Housing Associations, Developers and Housebuilders
  • To manage receipt, handling and escalation of all client enquiries
  • To work with the Commercial Team to ensure the preparation and timely delivery of all estimates
  • Create and implement sales strategy document and maintain monthly work plan for all external sales opportunities
  • Develop sales reports against targets as agreed with the local Homes Management team, projecting expected sales volume for existing and new products; analysing trends and results; monitoring costs, competition, supply and demand
  • Sustain rapport with key stakeholders by making and arranging periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities
  • To propose marketing plan in relation to customer facing materials such as brochures, open day events, website and social media

 Experience required:

  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • Good analysis skills (both written & numerical); the ability to collect & understand/link data to creatively solve
  • Experience of leading high profile programmes and projects that deliver high quality, within timescales and agreed budget, using proven project management methodologies

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Ability to plan, organise & successfully execute multiple tasks simultaneously with timeliness & accuracy
  • Ability to set financial targets and budgets
  • Good working knowledge & experience of using of Microsoft Office software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access & Project

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday 9am-5pm
