We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority based in Devon, who are recruiting for a Responsive Maintenance Lead on a Permanent basis.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary for this position is £58,902 per annum with a circa £1,200 car allowance (£60,102 Total Package).

The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with previous experience of working in the public sector, with strong contract management capabilities and experience overseeing both domestic and commercial stock.

The client is willing to pay for CIH Level 4 Qualification for the ideal candidate

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing the council's reactive works programmes across both the domestic and cooperate stock

• Having overall budget oversight of circa £9m

• Heading up the councils Awaab's law programme, ensuring adherence with time frames and scales

• Leading the council's reactive works programme including damp, mould and disrepair alongside tangible reactive programmes

• Undertaking contract management/administration with adherence to KPIs including budgets and time frames

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise required:

• A strong core understanding of Responsive Repairs works across the public sector

• Ability to manage large teams to achieve successful operational delivery of programmes within complex environments

• Ability to manage large commercial budgets (£5m+) across the delivery of programmes

• A strong base understanding of the compliance/regulations associated within the public sector and Planned/Responsive Works environment

Working hours:

• 37.5 hours per week

• Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm (3 Days WFH)
