Job description

​We are currently working with a private medical practice based in Birmingham who, due to recent expansion, are looking to appoint a permanent Resourcing Manager to join their growing HR department.


The role is a full time position to be based in their office in central Birmingham, and the salary is from £50k (DOE).


Daily duties will include:


  • Overseeing the day to day running of recruitment activities across the business

  • Line managing three members of staff, responsible for end to end recruitment

  • Developing innovative recruitment strategies and new ways to attract new talent

  • Identifying areas for improvement to increase staff retention levels

  • Working in closer partnership with the HR Manager in the monitoring of probations and the retention of staff

  • Monitoring recruitment and workforce data and metrics, presenting information and reports to senior management

  • Ensuring a positive candidate experience and journey, through to onboarding and offer stage

  • Maintaining relationships with prospective candidates in the market

  • Taking a hands on approach to recruitment, sourcing candidates and maintaining relationships with hiring managers


Skills/knowledge required:


  • Strategic and operational experience of recruitment and retention strategies

  • Line managing of staff

  • Knowledge of compliance and ideally experience of working in a regulated industry
