We are delighted to be representing a Housing Association, based in London Bridge, who are looking to appoint a new Resident Services Officer on a temporary basis.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The client is looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of Social Housing, who is confident working independently and as part of a team, with the objective of providing excellent customer service to residents.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing a patch of 200 mixed tenure properties

• Dealing with sign-ups, mutual exchanges and successions

• Conducting regular estate walkabouts

• Recovering rent arrears including on leasehold properties

• Dealing with low level ASB including noise complaints and neighbour disputes

• Minimising void properties

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Good time management and organisational skills

• Ability to work flexibly and respond quickly to changing demands, while meeting deadlines

• Experience of delivering high quality customer service

• Ability to build positive relationships with residents and to involve them in service delivery

Working hours:

• 35 hours per week

• Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
