Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Gloucestershire, who are recruiting for a Repairs Scheduler on a three-month contract.

 

The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £22 via an Umbrella Company.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a repairs scheduling or administrative role within social housing, with a strong understanding of responsive repairs processes, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Scheduling responsive repair appointments for trade operatives and contractors
  • Managing and monitoring operative diaries to maximise productivity and meet service targets
  • Liaising with tenants, operatives and contractors to coordinate appointments and resolve queries
  • Prioritising emergency and routine repairs in line with service standards
  • Updating repairs systems and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting the delivery of a customer-focused repairs service from initial contact through to completion

 

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing
  • Experience working with customers within housing
  • Experience scheduling responsive repairs
  • Experience liaising with contractors

 

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm
  • 5 days a week in the office
