Regional People Business Partner

Our client is one of the leading UK charities and is currently recruiting for a Regional People Business Partner on a permanent basis. Our client is proud to deliver a number of services to over 1,000 people with disabilities every day.

The position is due to start in the new year on a full time basis, with an annual salary of £42,000.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in the sector, extensive skills in human resources and must hold a full UK Driving License.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

• Acting as the conduit between line managers and the People and Development team, influencing strategy in support of business goals
• Partner line managers, develop a deep understanding of their business needs and work with them to give pragmatic guidance in all areas of people management
• Support managers in addressing high volumes of casework, including performance management; absence management and dispute resolution and through insight and trend analysis
• Ensure that staffing structures are fit for purpose and support recruitment and selection activities ensuring the effectiveness of the process and advising managers on the application of the appropriate remuneration scales
• Support line managers in leading and delivering change including restructures, reorganisation, consultation, TUPE, redundancy, job redesign and redeployments
• Promote and support managers in ensuring effective people management, including reviewing training levels, ensuring that regular staff briefings job description and person spec
• Coach and upskill line managers in handling challenging and/or sensitive people situations
• Ensure the People Partner Performance Indicators and intelligence for your area is consistently gathered, recorded, evaluated and shared to support effective trend analysis, decision-making and HR service design and delivery

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Extensive knowledge of employee relations
• Able to successfully inspire, lead, motivate, develop HR staff
• Led or been strongly involved in change management programmes
• Able to present data and MI in a visual and impactful way that enables effective decision making
• Highly resilient and able to work with multiple priorities
