Our client, based in West Yorkshire, is currently recruiting for a Recovery Worker on a 2-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time or part-time basis. The role requires a rota basis – Monday to Friday (shifts 9am-5pm / 12pm – 8pm) Saturday and Sunday (shifts 10am – 5pm) and flexibility is offered. The hourly rate is £15 per hour via an umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have experience of Group Facilitation and hold an enhanced DBS dated within the last 3 years.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Responsible for supporting clients with a range of Mental Health needs

• Conducting risk assessments and implementing support plans where necessary, in relation to mental health, anger management etc.

• Carrying out group facilitation on a regular basis, such as; relaxation, mindfulness, anger management, creative group sessions etc.

• Liaising with external organisations including support providers, NHS, Police and emergency services when necessary

• Overseeing health and wellbeing of client groups on a daily basis depending on the level of their needs

• Making calls to clients when required to check in on their wellbeing

• The role will have no caseload but will assist in supporting staff and providing office cover

Experience required:

• Working with vulnerable people with complex needs

• Providing group facilitation for service users
