Job description

Our client, based in Buckinghamshire, is currently recruiting for a Property Manager on a temporary contract for three to six months. The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The successful candidate must have strong leadership experience, a technical background and hold a full UK Driving License.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Leading a commercially focused in-house workforce of approx. 25 operatives, including trades and sub-contractors to deliver repairs, voids and compliance and major works, with a specific focus on defects

  • Promote a health & safety culture through the team

  • Delivering property and place services, including responsive repairs, cyclical maintenance, planned investment works, communal compliance testing, grounds maintenance and cleaning services

  • Responsible for the management of a geographic patch covering between 1,000-1,500 properties

  • Undertake stock condition and other surveys, as required, delivering any actions arising

  • Identify areas of poor performance and implement actions to remedy where associated with the internal delivery teams, highlighting any concerns with performance

  • Manage annual budgets for the area patches

  • Support on change and improvement projects and how technologies can move the business forward by colleagues adapting to new ways of working

  • Utilise stock and housing management data and other information sources

Expertise required:

  • Strong Leadership experience

  • Experience in delivering property and place services, includes responsive repairs

  • A full UK driving license

Working hours:

  • 36.5 hours per week

  • Monday - Friday 8:45am-5pm
