Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority based in Devon, who are recruiting for a Planned Maintenance Lead on a Permanent basis.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary for this position is £58,902 per annum with a circa £1,200 car allowance (£60,102 Total Package).
The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with previous experience of working in the public sector, with strong contract management capabilities and experience overseeing both domestic and commercial stock.
The client is willing to pay for CIH Level 4 Qualification for the ideal candidate
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Managing the Planned Works projects for both the corporate and domestic property stock
Overseeing an overall budget of £16m while having oversight of projects with budgets up to 1.5m
Managing domestic planned works programmes such as Kitchens, Bathrooms, Roofing and Renovation works
Heading up the SCS/DEA programme for the council's portfolio of stock
Undertaking contract management/administration with adherence to KPIs including budgets and time frames
Programmes include: 1.5m Fire Risk Programme, £880,000 car park upgrade and upgrades to historical monuments
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise required:
A strong core understanding of Planned works across the Social Housing sector
Ability to manage large teams to achieve successful operational delivery of programmes within complex environments
Ability to manage large commercial budgets (£16m+) across the delivery of programmes
A strong base understanding of the compliance/regulations associated within the Social Housing and Planned/Responsive Works environment
Working hours:
37.5 hours per week
Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm (3 Days WFH)
