Pensions Administrator

Our client, based in Birmingham, is currently recruiting for a Pensions Administrator on a permanent contract. Our client is proud to be a leader in their industry sector, delivering services all across the UK, Europe, North Africa, North America and the Middle East.

The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The salary is negotiable dependent on experience.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Answering queries via phone, letter and email then escalating to the relevant team or manager as required
  • Inputting, checking and updating employee records
  • Calculating how much money employees/ beneficiaries will receive
  • Completing payments and processing bank transfers
  • Transferring benefits from one pension to another if necessary
  • Arranging the payment of various pension schemes including Local Government, defined benefit & defined contribution
  • Completing auto-enrolment set up administration
  • Keeping up to date with pension and tax laws

 

Experience required:

  • Knowledge of pension schemes including LGPS
  • Intermediate level Excel (VLOOKUPS & Pivot Tables)

Working hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday 9am-5pm (flexi-time available)
