We are currently working with an Education Provider who are looking for a Payroll and Pensions Specialist on a three month contract, to be based out of their Tamworth site.

The role offers flexible hybrid working and expect attendance to the office once per week, and is due to start as soon as possible.

Our client is looking for candidates with experience working within the public sector and have a good understanding of LGPS, Teachers Pensions, Business Objects and iTrent.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Act as interface between 18 payroll inputters and the payroll provider and liaising effectively with the payroll inputters to resolve issues

• Resolve any technical issues and queries across the Payroll and Pensions function

• Assist with payroll queries for 1,200 monthly staff on iTrent, ensuring all information is inputted correctly

• Creating and running reports in Business Objects

• Reporting LGPS and Teachers Pensions information on a monthly basis

• Carrying out checks before and after trial and final

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week

• Monday - Friday 8.30am-4.30pm (flexible)
