Our client, based in Lancashire, is currently recruiting for an Outreach Support Worker on a 3-month temporary to permanent contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary for this position is £21,352.50 per annum, with the equivalent of an hourly basis being paid while temporary.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable young people, an enhanced DBS from within the last 3 years and have their own vehicle with a full UK Driving License.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Supporting around 8-10 service users made up of children leaving foster care or vulnerable asylum seekers
• Encouraging independent living amongst the residents
• Providing advice to residents regarding Accommodation options
• Supporting service users with access to both employment and education opportunities within the local community
• Attending both Social Services and Home Offices meetings regarding service users to monitor progress and raise any concerns
• Taking service users to local appointments, such as job interviews or doctors’ appointments

Working hours:

37.5 hours per week

Monday - Friday 9am-5pm with flexibility
