We are currently working in partnership with a Charity based in Cheshire, who are recruiting for an Outreach Support Worker on a temporary 3-month contract with the view to make this a permanent post. The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £19 via an Umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have experience of safeguarding, hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be happy to have one carried out, drive and have access to their own vehicle, and have proven experience of Support Worker duties.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Supporting victims with complex needs, including victims of domestic violence and those with substance misuse issues

• Attend support session with clients in the community and signpost them to relevant agencies

• Assist clients with hosuing benefit claims, budgeting, paying bills and other independent living skills

• Proficient in safeguarding, creating support plans and conducting risk assessments

• Promote independence and overall well-being

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experience working with customers within housing
