Office Manager

Our client, based in Leicester, is currently recruiting for an Office Manager on a permanent contract. Our client is a family run business who prides themselves on giving support and progression opportunities to all employees.

The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The salary for this position is £24k per annum.

The ideal candidate will have a previous experience managing a small office and have excellent communication skills.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Manage a team of two Administrators and manage their workload
  • Place purchase orders to suppliers, issue order acknowledgements to customers and sign off order confirmations
  • Maintain relationships with clients and ensure they are kept up to date on their orders
  • Liaise with suppliers to secure better lead times and push for a quicker delivery of the goods when the client requires it
  • Manage goods located in external storage, recording their arrival and dispatch, ensuring the stock holdings are accurate
  • Record and manage the stock arrival into the business, ensuring all data provided by the warehouse is correct and accurate
  • Organise external transport, ensuring the most cost-effective way for transportation of the goods
  • Deal with complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Process Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and ensure invoices are matched and signed off accordingly
  • Work closely with the CEO to agree on the commercials for all orders
  • Process month end stock take figures, create wastage reports and provide monthly stock sheets for clients

Experience required:

  • Managing a small team
  • Communicating in a professional manner with customers and suppliers

Skills required:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to delegate and motivate a team
  • Confident following and implementing process to ensure effective working

Working hours:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
