Neighbourhood Services Officer

Our client, a local authority based in Essex, is currently recruiting for a Neighbourhood Services Officer on a temporary basis for two months. The role is due to start immediately and the hourly rate is negotiable based on experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience of the below duties.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

• Managing a patch of properties and dealing with any tenancy enquiries
• Carrying out tenancy audits and estate and property inspections
• Sign ups, transfers, mutual exchanges, successions and terminations
• Managing void properties and re-letting them as quickly and efficiently as possible
• Dealing with low level ASB, gathering evidence and mediating on issues
• Helping to collect rent payments from residents, ensuring they do not fall into arrears

Experience required:

• Tenancy management – including rent arrears, ASB, voids and lettings
• Access to a car is essential
