Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Surrey, who are recruiting for a Neighbourhood Coordinator on a temporary six-month contract.

The position is due to start in early January, with the potential to go permanent. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable dependent on experience.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and housing experience will be a bonus.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for a patch of around 402 properties
  • Acting as the first point of contact for any housing and repairs enquiries
  • Carrying out ‘settling in’ visits and estate inspections
  • Responsible for conducting tenancy audits and monitoring the performance of contractors
  • Working closely with the Resident Involvement team to encourage customer involvement in the local area and attend the Resident Forums

Essential requirements:

Basic DBS certificate from within the last 3 years

Full driving license with access to a car

Rewards and Benefits:

Hybrid working – 1 to 2 days per week from home

Working hours:

35 hours per week

Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm (with flexibility)
