Our client, based in Greater Manchester, is currently recruiting for an Income Advisor and Neighbourhood Advisor on a temporary contract for two-three months rolling. Our client is a forward thinking Housing Association who provide homes and services to over 16,000 customers.
The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
> Acting as the first point of call for queries relating to all aspects of the customers’ tenancy
> Resolving queries to a satisfactory level including discussing the lettings process with tenants
> Gathering information and logging anti-social behaviour complaints or incidents onto the system
> Signposting customers to the relevant internal team or external agencies for further advice
> Liaising between the tenant and the Repairs team to ensure repairs requests have been followed up
> Updating the company database to record all queries and outcome
> Acting as first point of call for income queries regarding rent, financial inclusion, benefits and Universal Credit
> Explaining the payment methods available to tenants to pay their rent
> Asking triage questions to pass onto the income team for further assistance
> Providing advice to customers on details of their payment plans
> Signposting customers to other internal departments such as Neighbourhoods and Repairs/Maintenance
> Discussing Universal Credit entitlements and signposting to relevant agencies for further support
> Helping out other teams when required, including Neighbourhoods and Repairs which may include queries surround anti-social behaviour or requests for tradesmen to be sent to the property
> Updating the company database to record all queries answered and action points
Experience of working within the Social Housing sector
Previous work within a contact centre environment
Experience of dealing with enquiries regarding all tenancy matters OR income

Shift pattern rotates between 8:00am and 6:00pm (e.g. 8-4/9-5/10-6 with 1 hour lunch)
