Multi-Trade Operative

Our client, based in Wiltshire, is currently recruiting for a Multi-trade Operative on a temporary contract for one month, with a potential for further extension. Our client are a Housing Association who are looking to add to their growing maintenance division.

The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have groundwork experience.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

* Deliver responsive maintenance on domestic social housing properties, attending works from a PDA

* Replace doors and roofs on garages, utilizing frames and block work

* Install and repair fire doors within domestic properties, ensuring all fire safety regulations are adhered to
* Complete all carpentry maintenance including fitting skirting boards and assisting with kitchen and bathroom fitters

*Deliver a range of reactive repairs ideally demonstrating a strong carpentry skillset and the ability to plumb and carry out basic patch repairs

Experience required:

• Social Housing experience (Desirable)
• Experience carrying out reactive maintenance on domestic properties
• A relevant qualification in a trade (Level 2 NvQ) or evidence of time served experience

Working hours:

• 40 hours per week
• Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
