We are currently working with who are looking for a Multi-Trade Operative to be based out of the North and East Great London patch (further travel to be expected on occasion).

The role is a full-time patch-based position, and is due to start as soon as possible. The rate is £180 CIS per day paid directly from the employer.

Our client is looking for candidates with competent working trade knowledge and have worked in a maintenance site and/or housing environment.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Delivering a range of tasks inclusive of carpentry, plumbing and other decorative and plastering day-to-day repair works to a full range of social housing properties
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety to ensure that work is carried out in accordance with relevant service standards, building regulations, relevant legislations and codes of practice
• Liaising with customers and other colleagues, as appropriate, to ensure all relevant individuals are aware of progress and action taken
• Delivering works on time within given priorities and attempt to carry out repairs first time

Experience required:

• Carpentry, plumbing and other decorative and plastering skills
• Worked in a social housing environment
• Full UK driving license

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Understanding of relevant service standards, building regulations
• Day-to-day repair and maintenance works
