Our client, based in Coventry, is currently recruiting for a Learning and Development Administrator on a temporary to permanent contract. Our client is proud to be a service provider, with passion and commitment to making a difference to peoples’ lives.
The position is due to start early January on a temporary basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.
The ideal candidate will have experience using a database system, and be able to use Microsoft systems effectively.
Duties will include (but not limited to)
*Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with managers, staff and external providers.
*Maintaining the training content of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and any other relevant databases. Run reports and collate statistics from the system as needed.
*Identifying opportunities to develop the use of the Training Module of the HRIS to improve the efficiency of the role and the service provided to the Trust. This may include devising workflows and developing screens within the HRIS.
*Writing self-help guides for managers and staff to help with the use of the training element of the HRIS.
*Working with the Learning and Development Manager to compile the annual Learning and Development Schedule. Ensuring all workshops are uploaded to Cascade, all venues booked and refreshments are booked.
*Contacting appropriate external training providers to obtain quotes, arrange dates and obtain appropriate workshop documentation and training materials to required standards to fulfil the requirements of the Learning and Development Schedule.
*Booking venues as required to meet the requirements of the L&D Schedule. Sourcing and recommending cost effective new external facilities for the delivery of training as required.
*Sourcing, recommending and making provisional accommodation bookings for staff attending training workshops.
*Planning and delivering the administration for all internal and external workshops – compiling and sending out workshop confirmation, logging all workshop attendance and chasing internal and external training providers to ensure the return of training attendance sheets and evaluations.
*Working with volunteers for Learning and Development – identifying suitable tasks to be completed by them, training and monitoring their progress.
*Preparing and maintaining the annual spreadsheet to track admin tasks completed for training workshops.
