L&D Officer

Our client, based in London, is currently recruiting for a L&D Officer on a fixed term contract for 12 months. Our client is a Charity that provides support to adults with learning disabilities and has 400+ staff.

The position is due to start as soon as possible on a full time basis. The salary with this position is £31,100 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have a can do attitude with good organisation and communication skills.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Support the business objectives and values by providing a comprehensive, professional and customer-focused HR service to staff and the Board of Trustees members with particular attention to Learning and Development
  • Work with the HR Director, HR Manager, and the HR team in reviewing, developing and implementing the Learning and Development strategy
  • Develop L&D plan in line with the corporate objectives
  • Produce reports as needed and deliver organisational continues improvement as evidenced by data
  • Work in partnership with managers in order to identify and facilitate L&D interventions for individuals, teams and the organisation
  • Assess current training providers for quality, effectiveness and cost, and source training providers with the best quality for reasonable cost
  • Ensure care certificates in Care and Support are up to date and complete
  • Support the Recruitment Officer in the recruitment as needed in relations to L&D
  • Work with managers to re-assess and re-develop new starter induction program, including the support resources departments (HR, IT, Marketing & communication, Finance)

Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday 9am-5pm
