Joiner (multiple locations)

We are currently recruiting for a number of Joiners across multiple locations on permanent full time contracts.

Our client is proud Social Housing provider with the aim of offering as many high-quality homes as possible, and delivering great services and care acrross the UK.

Locations and salary details:

Crawley – £34,049 rising to £35,630 after 6 months

Havant – £30,049 rising to 31,630 after 6 months

The position is due to start as soon as possible, according to notice and availability.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

• Carrying out associated secondary trade activities within acceptable quality standards to support internal KPIs for a first time fix
• Providing accurate working information on operational activities, electronically or otherwise, in accordance with legislative and company requirements and procedures
• Assessing risk prior to carrying out works and taking appropriate Health & Safety measures to ensure personal safety as well as that of all customers and colleagues
• Ensuring accurate records of van stock are kept so levels are appropriately maintained
• Guaranteeing full functionality of plant and equipment and that it remains maintained and certificated with defects reported as required
• Supporting the protection and safety of all customers and ensuring therefore that safeguarding procedures are followed and monitored at all times

Experience required:

• Various multi-trade skills and experience, sufficient to enable the completion of repairs at the first visit (first time fix)
• Demonstrable competence within required primary trade

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• NVQ LEVEL 3 (CITY & GUILDS) Trade Qualification Essential
