Job description

​We are currently partnering with a local council based in Hertfordshire, who are recruiting for an Investment Services Co-Ordinator to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time position with a negotiable hourly rate based on experience (subject to experience) and the start date is immediate.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing a support service to the two teams of Damp and Mould and Aids and Adaptation conducting administrative functions

  • Carrying out a range of co-ordinating, reporting and auditing functions to ensure that services are being delivered in a consistent manner, within agreed standards and that performance data is rigorously interrogated with results fed back through the management hierarchy

  • Undertaking regular auditing of work to ensure that it is being delivered to an agreed standard

  • Leading the implementation of the Contractor Portal ensuring contractors are properly inducted in its use and that information input (work completion etc.) is both timely and accurate

  • Creating, maintaining, managing and reporting the data across the two teams – cases, case leads (assigned officer), case/project key dates: received, inspected, works ordered, completed, post inspected, paid, etc

  • Managing disrepair claims data ensuring that cases have the case bundles prepared, checked and submitted in accordance with the pre action protocol, are assigned and investigated and report on performance

  • Experience required:

  • Proven track record in providing administrative support and co-ordination in a similar role

  • Experience of using data bases such as: Northgate and Keystone

  • Experience of working with contractors

  • Experience of working with contractors, tenants and residents to achieve agreed works completion within agreed time scales

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages

  • Effectively communicate with a wide range of people both verbally and in writing

  • Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team

  • Aptitude to manage own workloads, plan and priortise to meet deadlines

  • Capable of analysing and solve problems/issues

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s at Grade C or above (or equivalent)

  • Knowledge of building construction and building services

37 hours per week
