Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Surrey, who are recruiting for a hybrid Income Manager on a permanent basis. The position is due to start immediately. The salary is £43,000 per annum inclusive of a car allowance.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing a team, have previously attended evictions and represent organisations in court. They will adept at getting the best results from their team through effective leadership.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing a team of three - two Income Officers and a Welfare and Benefit Officer

  • Dealing with medium to low level ASB

  • Monitoring tenants rent accounts and chase tenants rent arrears

  • Signposting customers to additional support providers

  • Dealing with general estate and tenancy management

Experience required:

  • Experience required in managing a team

  • Experience performing one on one reviews

  • Experience compiling reports for senior management

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Good organisational and time management skills

  • A thourough knowledge of tenancy management and rent arreas recovery

  • Awareness of and ability to comply with health and safety legislation

  • Experience asissting with clients with complex needs

  • Ability to work flexibly and respond quickly to changing demands, while meeting deadlines

Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week
