Job description

Our client, based in Surrey, is currently recruiting for a HR Project Manager on a 12 month FTC. The roles main focus will be on academic promotions and rewards for the organization and will cover a wide range of staff.

 

The position is due to start on short notice on a full time basis. The salary for the position is £56,073 per annum and includes additional benefits.

 

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on HR projects which include rewards and promotions.

 

Duties will include (but not limited to):

•    Working with key stakeholders to review, identify changes, design and implement outcomes on the organisations academic promotion (and professorial banding) policy, procedures and criteria

•    The post holder will proactively lead the project identifying key stakeholders, arranging and facilitating workshops

•    Lead a project to a review the organisations academic probation policy and process to identify and improve the process and ensure synergy between promotion, probation and performance review

•    Complete horizon scans across the wider environment to provide input on good practice and competitive practices

•    To update relevant policies and develop practical implementation support and guidance as required to enable delivery of the project

•    To develop management information and distribution methods to ensure success of project work

•    To prepare a range of briefings and reports for the organisations committees and others as required

•    To assist in the planning and delivery of training, briefings, workshops etc. in relation to the role as necessary

 

Experience required:

•    CIPD Level 5 or higher

•    First class degree

•    Strong working knowledge of employment legislation

•    Knowledge of the education sector (Desirable)

Working hours:

•    35 hours per week
