Job description

 

Our client, based in South East London, is currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner on a fixed term contract for six months. Our client is a not-for-profit resident-led housing association managing more than 6,000 homes across South East London.

 

The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The salary is £56,715 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have experience of coaching and supporting managers to resolve complex employee relations issues.

 

Duties will include (but not limited to):

·         Regularly reviewing the HR-related policies and procedures to ensure they meet the future needs of the business and promote a thriving workplace culture

·         Manage employees in the HR team and provide guidance on all aspects of HR

·         Take responsibility for restructures and TUPE integrations

·         Perform inductions of new staff and advise on the continuous development of induction programmes and material

·         Support the organisations development agenda, including initiatives to promote an inclusive working environment

·         Continuously survey the external environment for examples of human resources best practice and innovation and use these to shape the People Strategy and plans

 

 

Experience required:

·         Experience of business partnering HR with the aim of achieving corporate outcomes and driving cultural change

·         Experience of overseeing, maintaining and developing administrative processes

 

 

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

·         Thorough knowledge of the latest developments within the field of HR

·         Relevant progressive working experience from operational to strategic HR consulting, business partnering and/or management roles

·         Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures and an understanding of their application / strong generalist HR knowledge

·         Proven ability to communicate and negotiate effective delivery with stakeholders through reports and presentations

 

 

Working hours:

·         36 hours per week

·         Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

·         3 days working from home per week
