HR Assistant

Our client, based in Bedfordshire, is currently recruiting for a HR Assistant on a permanent basis.

The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. Our client is an internationally recognized and award winning institution with a heritage of quality business going back more than 100 years.

The annual salary is £20,800 based on experience, and will be suitable for graduates with a Human Resource and Business background. Further benefits include a generous pension scheme, subsidised gym and restaurant discounts and 25 days AL + 8 BH + 5 extra days = 43 Holidays. This role also has a hybrid working model.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • To be, in conjunction with the HR Advisor, one of the key points of contacts for resourcing and generalist HR related matters for the allocated areas of responsibility, providing an efficient and effective service to all internal stakeholders
  • To proactively deliver on resourcing administrative activities, including that relating to visiting contracts, which align to the relevant business policies
  • Take accountability for respective areas of responsibility in administering the employee life cycle processes
  • To ensure that statutory and procedural resourcing and HR requirements are in accordance with related business HR policies, procedures and employment law
  • To build and maintain effective working relationship with key internal stakeholders, including HR colleagues, external stakeholders and applicants
  • To maintain and develop efficient administrative systems to support all team resource and employee relations activities ensuring that relevant and correct data is captured on the HR Management Information System
  • To participate in, organise and/or attend internal training to promote HR activities in the team, department and business

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday
