Job description

Our client, based in central London, is currently recruiting for a HR Assistant on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

 

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary is £30,432 to £34,397 plus generous annual leave and benefits. The role also offers two days working from home per week.

 

The ideal candidate will have a recent HR administrative experience within the education sector.

 

Duties will include (but not limited to):

·         Act as the first point of contact for all HR queries, including the recruitment inbox and either respond or re-direct queries as appropriate

·         Provide effective administration across a range of HR areas including but not limited to: the full employee life cycle; reference requests; childcare vouchers; family leave; annual leave and the pension scheme

·         Be responsible for ensuring files, including archive files, HR records, and spreadsheets remain correct and up to date at all times

·         Respond to queries about annual leave entitlement for current staff and balance annual leave for leavers

·         Take a lead role in the co-ordination of recruitment, liaising with recruiting managers to finalise job adverts, job descriptions, person specifications and other recruitment information

·         Using the e-recruitment system to monitor progress of vacancies liaising with recruiting managers, system providers and candidates as required

·         Process Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks

 

Experience required:

·         Experience overseeing end-to-end recruitment processes

·         HR inbox management

Working hours:

·         35 hours per week

·         Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
