Job description
We are delighted to be representing an educational body, based in Surrey, who are looking to appoint a new HR & Recruitment Administrator on a permanent basis.
This will be a full time position, with hybrid working (1-2 days per week home working) and a salary of £24,000 - £28,000 per annum.
The client is looking for someone who is adaptable and resilient, and ideally would have worked in the education sector previously in either a HR or recruitment focused role.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing the HR and recruitment inboxes, acting as the first point of contact for any queries
- Supporting the end to end recruitment process, including posting adverts, reviewing applications, arranging interviews and updating the website and social media pages
- Managing the employee lifecycle and onboarding processes for all new starters, including drafting and sending offer letters and contracts
- Conducting pre-employment checks including references, RTW, DBS and visa checks
- Maintaining and updating employee information onto iTrent
Experience required:
- Use of iTrent
- Working within an educational setting
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Knowledge of the end to end recruitment and onboarding processes
- Understanding of the importance of compliance and safeguarding
