Job description

Our client, based in Buckinghamshire, is currently recruiting for a HR Advisor on a permanent contract.

This will be a full-time position, with hybrid working (1/2 days home working) and a salary of £35,000 to £38,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have strong generalist experience across the full remit of HR.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Acting as a key point of contact for HR queries providing guidance on HR policy, process and operating procedures to employees and managers

  • Leading on recruitment campaigns for all roles, posting adverts online, monitoring applications, responding to queries, organising interviews, issuing offer letters and completing pre-employment checks

  • Responsible for the onboarding process for successful candidates ensuring all pre-employment checks have been carried out including, eligibility to work, DBS, Health checks and running the induction training

  • Reviewing existing benefit and wellbeing packages and making appropriate recommendations to enhance employee satisfaction

  • Ensuring that the HR System is kept up to date with all changes within the organisation including new starters, leavers, changes of personal and contractual details, sickness and other absences as well as the update of training record

  • Liaising with payroll teams to inform them of any contractual variations within the set deadlines, escalating issues to the HR Manager where necessary

Experience required:

  • Strong HR generalist, with practical experience across core HR activities

  • Experience of implementing wellbeing and benefit packages is desirable

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organisation and planning skills

  • Ability to work on own initiative

Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm

  • 1/2 days working from home
