We are currently working with a Public Sector organisation, who are looking for a HR Advisor on a permanent basis to be based out of their offices in Stroud on a hybrid basis.

This will be a full time (37 hours) position and they can offer a salary of £34,723, 3 days working from home, and pension contributions of up to 18%.

They are looking for someone with strong generalist HR experience to support their day-to-day people operations and who ideally has a formal CIPD L5 or L7 qualification.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Supporting and advising managers and employees on all HR queries

• Managing the day-to-day aspects of the employee lifecycle, including performance and absence management, recruitment, L&D and reward

• Playing a key role in all aspects of employee relations and carrying out associated casework

• Providing support to managers on change management processes, including restructuring activity, working closely with recognised trade unions

• Supporting managers with the implementation of HR activities including succession planning, employee engagement and talent development

Experience required:

• CIPD L5/L7 qualified (desirable)

• Experience of employee relations casework

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Strong organisational skills

• Sound knowledge of employment legislation
