Job description
Our client, based in Central London, is currently recruiting for a HR Advisor on a permanentcontract. Our client has a reputation for delivering excellent academic programmes providing the combination of skills and knowledge that are increasingly desired by employers.
The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The salary is £35,000 - £41,000 per annum.
The ideal candidate will have strong ER and recruitment experience.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
• Provide professional support and guidance to managers and employees on a range of HR issues
• Develop effective relationships with all users so as to enhance their confidence in the HR service and develop their understanding of how its systems can work to support them
• Implement and review internal HR process guides, for all general HR day to day administration processes
• Oversee the employee records system(s), ensuring data is accurate and kept inaccordance with the organisations processes
• To provide guidance and advice to staff on employment-related matters including contractual issues, absences, flexible working and equal opportunities in accordance with the organisations HR policies and procedures
• Support and manage the overall recruitment and selection process and to be the escalation point as required
• Deliver accurate and up to date, HR data reports and analysis, to support the HR Manager to be able to make informed decisions
• Support, guide and develop the HR Administrators to deliver an accurate and timely HR administration function
• Contribute to service improvement initiatives
Experience required:
• Experience of operational, day-to-day HR activities with a current knowledge of HR policies and procedures
• Experience of working effectively within a team and autonomously
Skills, knowledge and expertiserequired:
• Knowledge of employment legislation and best practice approach to HR processes
• Knowledge and understanding of the processes involved for employee relations cases
• (such as sickness, probation and capability)
