Job description

​We are currently supporting a large utilities company, who are looking for a HR Administrator to join the team on a 9-month fixed term contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, offers a salary of £22,000 and the opportunity for hybrid working.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a HR team, and be immediately available to start a new role.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Acting as a first point of contact for any HR queries, triaging and escalating employment queries

  • Providing support covering the whole employee life-cycle

  • Completing HR Administration tasks, such as processing new starters, checking returns of Right to Work, DBS and references for all new hires, salary changes and terminations, including offer letters, contracts of employment, amendment to contracts and leaver

  • Maintaining and updating the HR system

  • Building effective working relationships across the business

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Experience working within a HR/Recruitment Administrator position

  • Enthusiastic, energetic and driven

Working hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm / 9am-5pm
