Job description

Our client, an award winning and Platinum IIP accredited employer based in Castle Donington, is currently recruiting for a HR Administrator on a temporary contract for four months. The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis, and offers the successful candidate a great opportunity to continue their development and be actively involved in all generalist HR areas, in a people focused organisation.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Acting as first point of contact for team members throughout the business assisting with basic queries and signposting more complex queries to the relevant People Services (HR) team member

  • Supporting the People Team with reporting on key data and highlighting any issues proactively

  • Providing support to the HR Recruitment & Selection Specialist in the interview process – administration of interview notes and supporting candidates for interviews and assessments with the setting up of remote online interviews or face to face

  • Ensuring all compliance training is proactively arranged and recorded

  • Ensuring the development and administration of the eLearning system including production of clear user guides and ensuring use of the system

Expertise required:

  • Prior experience of working in an HR administrative position, with high attention to detail

  • IT literate with experience of administering databases and working knowledge of MS Office

  • Numerate with working knowledge of finance administration

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, Flexible hours

  • Remote based role, with occasional onsite presence as required
