​Our client, based in Bournemouth, is currently recruiting for a Housing Officer on a 12-month temporary basis. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, requiring you in the office 2 to 3 days per week.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis with an hourly rate of £19.46 per hour (umbrella)

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

•        Undertaking all tenancy and leasehold management, ensuring that tenancy conditions are adhered to and that advice is provided to tenants on issues relating to their tenancy

•         Dealing with complaints of anti-social behaviour and taking action in accordance with the Council’s anti-social behaviour procedure and best practice and to liaise with the ASB team, Police and other agencies when required

•         Identifying issues affecting the management of neighbourhoods and finding solutions to resolve these e.g., car parking, use of communal areas, environmental improvements

•         Preparing and arranging for the service of notices on tenants for breaches of the terms of the tenancy agreement and other grounds for possession

•         Liaising with the coroner, GP’s and next of kin where a resident dies, providing initial advice on tenancy terminations and monitoring the return of keys on the tenancy termination date

Experience required:

• A background in tenancy management is required

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 9am -5pm
